Beeline Music Festival – Loch Tay

21 September @ 7:00 pm - 11:00 pm
£15
Beeline Festival Loch Tay Kenmore

21st September from 7pm
Beeline Music Festival
Taymouth Marina, Kenmore, Loch Tay, By Aberfeldy PH15 2HW
A live Music festival held by Beeline events. An Evening of Live music delicious food and drinks on the banks of Loch Tay with Ben Lawers as a back drop. Food supplied by Elite culinary Chef. We recommend listing to the You Tube clips against each artist – the artists sound excellent!
Music from BLUE ROSE CODE – There are hints of soul, jazz and folk in Ross Wilson’s delivery. He has performed and appeared with many of Scotland’s musical heroes – Karine Polwart, Julie Fowlis, Kris Drever and Eddi Reader. Comparisons – John Martyn, Van Morrison. He is passionate and with musicianship that compels, Blue Rose Code are a band that identify with a lot of people searching for depth outside of mainstream music and the arts. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QPOyHs1Bpto
STAR WHEEL PRESS – Using only a Fender Bass valve amp and a vintage wood and steel resonator guitar they draw you in to a strange and humorous world. Baritone voice and resonating chords with slam poetry and catchy tongue in cheek choruses. Laugh and cry with our odd, sensitive, local mountain men. Comparisons – Tom Waits, Sun Kil Moon. Check out the song “Love is Rest” – https://youtu.be/nPOnuKrJRtU
LAURIE CAMERON – Total heartbreaker. Is she singing hymns or are these mystical stories of love and loss? The music is subdued but warm and full, it’s like she wants you to drift with her through a soundscape that’s sonically moody with a darkened sense of place. There’s a maturity to her voice and a poetry to her lyrics. Comparisons – Agnes Obel, Emilana Torrini, Quickbeam. Check out the song “Fare Forward” https://youtu.be/dvxN3WaG2jw
Tickets £15 available from. http://beelinefestival.co.uk/#festival
