Castle Menzies is a very special Pitlochry Castle, in that this is an outstanding example of a 16th century Z plan fortified house, this was critical for the survival of Clan Chief’s in those turbulent times. Castle Menzies is 15 miles to the south east of Pitlochry (full details below), at Weem just outside Aberfeldy.


Blair Castle, the ancient seat of the Dukes and Earls of Atholl
