The Blair Atholl Spa is at the Steading Spa which is equipped with two pools. Ideal for those looking for a Pitlochry Swimming Pool. There is no Pitlochry public swimming pool. It is 6 miles from Pitlochry with the free car park right beside the pool and cafe-restaurant next door.
We were very impressed by the high standards of the facilities. The facilities were excellent, you will often have the pool and spa to yourselves.
The men and women's changing rooms are immaculate. You have your own secure locker to store your valuables and clothes. The showers are lovely, immaculately tiled and beautifully clean.
All swimmers are asked to shower BEFORE having a swim. Conditions of entry are, NO diving (safety reasons), No Bombing, No running (so slipping on the tiled floors), NO rough play.
The spa and pool are open to everyone. In common with a good spa it has a swimming pool, steam rooms, multi gym, and dining area with the excellent Loft Restaurant situated directed next to the Spa.
The 17m by 11m Pool is ideal for the experienced swimmers. While the Toddler's pool is ideal for the younger members of the family. It is shallow, so safe for those starting out learning to swim.
In addition to the facilities associated with a spa it has a Jacuzzi, Sauna, and a Standing Tan.
You can also have swimming lessons, yes professional swimming lessons for people of all ages, private one to one or two to one ratio, from Perthshire Fitness Therapy team.
The Steading Spa is located at the entrance to the River Tilt Holiday Park, next door to the Loft Restaurant.
